I just learned that Fr. Finnegan has been in the hospital. After decades struggling with coronary artery disease and dialysis/renal failure induced by contrast dye, Fr. Finnegan continues to soldier on, but has recently required more aggressive measures to control heart failure and even requires a feeding tube for nutritional support. I will visit him after work tomorrow.
I also learned that our priests from Our Lady of Sorrows have been at his side with the Sacraments. God bless them for that!
Of course, let us storm Heaven with prayer for his needs.
