Fr. Remi Picot Joins the SAJM
« on: December 10, 2022, 02:49:41 PM »
According to the SAJM website: https://sajm-siteofficiel.blogspot.com/2022/12/m-labbe-picot-rejoint-la-sajm.html

"Fr. Remi Picot has joined the SAJM.

We are happy to inform you that on December 8, feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin, Father Rémi Picot made his first commitment to the SAJM.

Father Picot (French) was ordained in the SSPX in 2009.

He had left the latter in 2014 because of its liberal drift.

DEO GRATIAS!"

Note: Some may recall Fr. Picot served under Fr. Chazal in the Philipines, but had to return to France because of severe illness (denga), and would not be able to return to that tropical climate.

Here is the current membership list (along with home country of origin) for the SAJM, as of today: https://sajm-siteofficiel.blogspot.com/2022/12/les-membres-de-la-sajm-actuellement.html

Membres décédés:

Here's some pics from the December 8 ceremony:

We don't have 79 seminarians who prefer authority to truth, but we do have 2 bishops, 9 priests, 3 oblates, and 6 seminarianss wwho prefer truth to authority.

Slowly, we grow with a trustworthy group of hardcore apostles of Christ.

Well, I'm sure you know that this is a bit of an oversimplification.  These 79 could have just gone with FSSP, or most of them could have.  There's probably a blend of reasons they're there.  I'd love to know what percentage are simply Cradle SSPXers that just went through the system, SSPX schools, St. Mary's, et al.  If that's the case, they probably don't even fully understand what the problem is here with the Conciliar Church except for an irreverent and perhaps theologically and pastorally not-as-good Liturgy.  Theologically, they probably have very few differences with the Conciliar Church.  Some probably don't know much about why the Resistance split off ... probably have been told that it's just a group of αnтι-ѕємιтєs who followed that one bishop who denied the h0Ɩ0cαųst (and that's what this is really about).
