I wouldn't even say that he is a closeted ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ. He has freely admitted his sodomite past, and he professes to live celibately, something I have no reason to disbelieve. Whether he still has SSA, he apparently does not choose to share, and it is really none of anyone's business. If you had SSA, would you go around telling people about it? I wouldn't. (For the record, I don't. To paraphrase Janet Reno, I'm just an awkward old man who likes women.)
Ordinarily, I would agree that personal attachments to particular vices are things best left between penitent and confessor. I always smell a rat when ostensibly reformed sodomites play the old sodomite game of "identifying" themselves as "ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖly inclined Catholics" or "SSA Catholics," usually as a political bargaining chip within Church life, or simply as a histrionic plea for more attention and sympathy (for which fαɢs - drama queens to the core - are notorious).
However, Voris' situation is entirely different. Here's a guy who leapt directly from a life of sodomy into a public apostolate, with the line between the two phases, by some accounts, being blurred and overlapping. The fact that he kept his past - his
immediate past - life of sin a secret makes him an objectively suspicious character. And all the more suspicious an eye is necessarily cast on some of CM's more flagrantly absurd practices, like "Lenten Cruises" (what's next - Paschal Bathhouses?) and their apparent predilection for hiring baby-faced young men barely old enough to shave.
E. Michael Jones has done exemplary work demonstrating the close link between sɛҳuąƖ sin and political control via blackmail, control of lusts, etc. The fact that Voris is so clearly acting as a catspaw for some powerful entities with an axe to grind against the SSPX in particular (and the Traditional Catholic movement in general), as well as his apparent connection to some ѕуηαgσgυє of Satan-backed "Noahide" organization, makes his personal attachments to his particular vice something of particularly pressing interest to the Catholic faithful whom he seeks to dupe.
