  • In defense of Pius XII: I believe he may have been poisoned, and it may not have been an overnight ordeal, so, perhaps when he approved this "commission" with his "blessing" he may have been poisoned already at that point in even allowing something that hadn't been visited (i.e. fiddling with the Holy Week liturgies) by any Pope since the Council of Trent.

Where do I personally draw the line?

I use the original calendar. I would recommend this for reading regarding this anyway. (Wow I guess we can consider this  :sign-thread-hijacked: for the time being....)

    Very informative.

  • Just to make this clear.

I'm not a SGG "cult" member before someone jumps on me about that. I know there's been some fighting about that in the past, but some of their arguments are compelling, and very interesting. I attend an independent chapel personally.

  • Well I might be able to add a new twist to observation in this situation. I am new to traditional catholicism and two years a go I moved to be closer to the Church's school which inabled my kids to get religious education. However my second son, matthew, is autistic and is unable to attend this school so I do put him in a public school. He has been there for two years and has amazing teachers and aids for his disability. I have tried to home school but I am not good with educating little kids. I am working toward my teachers degree so in the future I will be able to educate him and keep him away from evils that are rampant in the older kids at public school. Because of our introduction to the church at such a late date we are all very much learners adn it is not rare for my first grader to come home and teach me something I didnt know about our faith.

  • Well, now I'm not sending my children to that small school next year, and I am going to try my hardest to homeschool with the help of Our Lady of Good Success. Please pray for me.
