Well I might be able to add a new twist to observation in this situation. I am new to traditional catholicism and two years a go I moved to be closer to the Church's school which inabled my kids to get religious education. However my second son, matthew, is autistic and is unable to attend this school so I do put him in a public school. He has been there for two years and has amazing teachers and aids for his disability. I have tried to home school but I am not good with educating little kids. I am working toward my teachers degree so in the future I will be able to educate him and keep him away from evils that are rampant in the older kids at public school. Because of our introduction to the church at such a late date we are all very much learners adn it is not rare for my first grader to come home and teach me something I didnt know about our faith.
