Piano is not my first instrument - I can play a little but it's too mechanical.  I wrote this easy, straightforward piece ('Reflective Piano' - 3/4 in C minor) and I'm wondering if a pianist has the ability to bring it to life and record it.  MIDI would be ok but I'm trying to get a nice piano sound and the sound I'd absolutely love to achieve would be close to this -

 


Somewhere between the youtuber and me could work fine.  Attached is the .mp3 and let me know if you're interested.  It's very easy arpeggios with a simple melody.

I should have the sheet music but it looks like the software isn't putting in the key signature for whatever reason.  Normally there might be a few accidentals outside of C minor but only a couple, if at all.  I'll try to figure that out and let you know.  Right now it's looking kind of goofy.  Thank you for checking out the idea.

It's a good recording and the piano sounds clear.  Where/how did you do it?  It's hard to tell with the midi these days. 

My piano tune is straightforward.  The first section is C minor and the 'modulation' for part II (with the right hand octaves) goes into Eb major which doesn't change anything of course.  The only funky part is going into the end of the first part before the G7 where I superimposed some Bb in the right hand over some Ab in the left.  Something like that.  It's been a long time since I've looked at it musically.
