Any Irish SSPX or resistance people here?

  • Hello, I was wondering if anyone here is in Ireland or knows someone in Ireland who goes to SSPX or resistance. I am asking because I have important information a priest should know. It is a man who admitted to being a mason and admitted to being unchaste. The mason was affiliated with a Dublin lodge to my knowledge. If you know someone who knows priests who say mass in Ireland or laymen who attend a chapel in Ireland, reply to this thread with your screen name and I will DM you this information. This is important because you don't want unrepentant mortal sinners to take Communion.

  • I've looked at the screenshots further and it seems the person in question goes to a resistance chapel. Now, I am curious if the priests tend to know the names of those attending the masses there given that there is probably not a lot of people.

  • Why don't you contact an SSPX or Resistance priest directly? The contact details of either is available publicly.

  • Priests are not allowed to withhold Holy Communion unless the person in question is a public sinner (or in some other way publicly excluded from the life of the Church). By the way, 'public sinner' is a technical term. Even if the sinner in question told you, or even several others, it does not make them a public sinner. The priest will make that judgment. Depending on the situation, you may even be risking the sin of detraction by spreading that information.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • Public Service Announcement:

The SSPX is very much still fighting the Resistance. Some Laymen take it upon themselves to "fight the good fight", on both sides.

My point: Don't trust a random person on an Internet forum until you know who he is. You can't just automatically trust people, not if they could persecute you, cause trouble for you, etc. BE PRUDENT.
